Power Tools and Machinery Sales was established in 1973 by George Ramage. His family still owns and operates the business in the Perth suburb of Bayswater and in the south western town of Bunbury.

Over the years the company has specialised in the sale of power tools and machinery to the cabinet making, joinery and boat building industries.

The Perth store has a staff of 14 well trained sales and administration personnel, including 1 qualified technician, 1 onsite service technician, 7 salespersons and supporting administration personnel. Bunbury's staff numbers 3, with 2 salespersons and one technician.

A large range of accessories and consumables are stocked in both stores to complement the tools and machinery the company sells. After-sales service is a high priority with the organisation, as demonstrated by the staff of three technicians employed by PTMS. PTMS makes a point of only supplying equipment it can assure adequate backup service for.

Both the Perth and Bunbury stores are open between 8:00 am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:30 to 12:00 noon Saturday. To further enhance the company's service to its customers and clients this Internet-based online store now gives the opportunity to order goods or submit enquiries 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
